Joomla! is Practical, Engaging and Powerful.
My most recent endeavor, webJim's, web design with Joomla!, is born of long interest in computers and the internet. Thirty years ago if GTE Data Services had had an opening for trainees, I'd have thirty years of experience in IT instead of investment counseling.
They didn't and I took a position in the Flagship Bank of Tampa Trust Department. However, I was always the geek in the office. If there was an issue with our computers or applications, I got a call. I served on several corporate task forces to represent the company's technology users. After Al Gore invented the Internet, I found a whole new area of interest. Now, after twenty years of directing others to design user friendly web sites and web based applications, I've found a way to be directly involved. In late 2010, researching a way to redesign my church's web site, I stumbled onto open source Content Management Systems. Of the major CMS choices, after thorough research, I have decided to work with Joomla! (yes, there's an '!' in the name).

PADI Dive Lessons

Learning to scuba dive in one of the nearby springs, rivers, lakes or even
the Gulf may be expedient, but it's usually not very interesting. Although I offer PADI scuba lessons in this fashion, I recommend a customized course finishing with your Open Water scuba dives in the Florida Keys.Hey! I'll even go with you to the Caribbean, all it takes is planning.
